Hi, I’m Tara.

I’m the heart behind Myrtle & Bo. I’m happily married to the love of my life, Scott, who jumped into this adventure right alongside me, and I’m mom to Henry, my favorite person in the world and one of my biggest supporters.

Myrtle & Bo grew from something I’ve always loved: bringing people together and making the moments worth celebrating feel a little more special.

I love the details, the traditions, the beautiful table, the invitation someone keeps, and those little touches that make people feel thought of.

But at the heart of Myrtle & Bo has always been people.

 Two generations. One name.
Myrtle & Bo began with my great-grandmother Myrtle and her daughter, my grandmother Garnetta, lovingly known as Bobo.

Myrtle gave us the first half of our name. Bobo gave us the “Bo.” Together, their names became the beginning of something that feels deeply personal to me.

A mother, a daughter, and another piece of our story.
Corrine was my great-grandmother and the mother of my grandmother, Ivory Rose “Marie.” This photograph of them together on Marie’s wedding day is one of my favorite pieces of our family history.

Their names now live side by side within Myrtle & Bo in two collections that celebrate the details surrounding some of life’s most meaningful moments.
